- Radifocus Glidecath is a hydrophilic angiographic catheter intended for use in angiographic procedures in peripheral and neural vasculature. It delivers radiopaque media and therapeutic agents to selected sites in the vascular system. Glidecath is also used to lead a guidewire or a catheter into the target site.
Characteristics:
- Distal hydrophilic coating at 15, 25, and 40 cm, depending on catheter type and length, providing smooth navigability and allowing to selectively catheterize the most tortuous anatomies
- Great braiding structure: the single braiding on the 5 Fr option and double braiding on the 4 Fr provide high trackability, especially when used in combination with Terumo’s hydrophilic guidewire.
- Smooth, radiopaque surface prevents thrombus formation and ensures high visibility under fluoroscopy
